In short: start with a free trial and no card, so you can try everything before you pay. Cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will make it right.
1. Overview
This policy explains how the free trial, billing, cancellations, and refunds work for a Kaireen Studio subscription. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Payments and refunds are processed by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record for your purchase.
2. Free trial
Kaireen Studio starts with a free trial, and no card is required to begin. During the trial every module is unlocked so you can test the Service on your own edits before you decide to pay. This is your best opportunity to confirm the Service fits your workflow.
If the trial is not for you, simply let it end. You are not charged, and there is nothing to cancel.
3. Billing cycle
After the trial, Kaireen Studio is a paid subscription billed monthly or yearly. A yearly subscription is offered at a discount equal to two months free compared with paying monthly. Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each new billing period, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel.
You will be billed through our payment provider, which issues your invoices and handles any applicable taxes.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. When you cancel:
- Your subscription stops renewing, so you will not be billed for the next period.
- You keep access to the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- After that period ends, the paid features stop and your license returns to the free or trial state.
You can cancel from your account or the billing link in your receipt, or by contacting us and we will help. Cancelling stops future charges but, by itself, is not a refund of a period that has already started (see Refunds below).
5. Refunds
Because a free trial lets you fully evaluate the Service before paying, we generally do not provide refunds for subscription periods that have already begun or for time already used. That said, we want you to be treated fairly, and we will consider refunds in reasonable cases, for example:
- You were charged in error or charged twice for the same period.
- You were charged again right after cancelling and had not used the new period.
- A significant technical fault on our side prevented you from using the Service and we could not resolve it in reasonable time.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment provider. Partial or pro-rated refunds are at our reasonable discretion. Nothing in this policy limits refund or cancellation rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@kaireen.com from the address on your account, within a reasonable time of the charge (we suggest within 14 days). Include your account email, the approximate date of the charge, and a short description of the problem. We aim to review requests promptly and will let you know the outcome.
7. Consumer withdrawal rights
If you are a consumer in a region with a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal period (for example, the EU or UK), you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within a set time. Where you ask us to start providing a digital service immediately and you begin using it during that period, that right may be reduced or lost to the extent permitted by law. We honor the consumer rights that apply to you.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We can usually resolve billing issues faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your access being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
