The short version: your video footage is never uploaded to us. The caption engine can run fully on your own machine, and AI features send only the minimum they need to work, such as extracted audio for transcription. We collect the account, license, and basic usage data needed to run the Service, and nothing more.
1. Who we are
Kaireen Studio is provided by Kaireen ("Kaireen", "we", "us", or "our"), located at Istanbul, Turkiye. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use the Kaireen Studio panel and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Data we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible. The main categories are:

3. What we do not collect
Your video footage is not uploaded to us. The local caption engine runs fully on your machine. AI features do not send your whole project or your source video files. They send only what the specific feature needs to work (for example, audio extracted for transcription, or the text you ask to be rewritten). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your projects or footage to train our own or third-party models.
4. How we use data
- To provide, activate, and operate the Service and its features.
- To run your free trial, subscription, renewals, and billing.
- To verify licenses and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To diagnose errors, keep the Service stable, and improve it.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To send important service messages (for example, updates that affect you). Marketing messages, if any, are only sent where permitted, and you can opt out.
- To meet legal obligations.
5. AI features and your data
When you use an AI feature, the minimum content needed is sent to our servers and on to a third-party AI provider that performs the transcription or text task. For example, generating captions may send extracted audio, and a text feature may send the text you want changed. The result is returned to your panel and placed on your timeline. AI usage counts against your fair monthly quota. AI output can be imperfect, so please review it before relying on it.
6. Third-party processors
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Payment provider (merchant of record). Handles checkout, subscriptions, renewals, taxes, and invoices. They process your billing details under their own privacy policy. Our checkout is operated by our payment provider (our payment provider).
- AI providers. Provide transcription and text generation for AI features. They receive only the content a feature needs to run (Google (Gemini) and ElevenLabs).
- Hosting and infrastructure. Provide the servers, storage, and delivery that run our backend and this website (a third-party cloud hosting provider).
- Email and support tools. Used to send service messages and answer support requests.
We ask processors to protect your data and to use it only on our instructions. Their handling of billing or AI content is also governed by their own privacy terms.
7. Legal bases
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the Service, trial, and billing); our legitimate interests (keeping the Service secure, preventing abuse, and improving it); your consent where required (for example, certain cookies or marketing); and to comply with legal obligations.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account and license data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Billing records are kept as required by law and by our payment provider. Diagnostic and error data is kept for a limited period to help us fix issues. AI request content is not retained by us beyond what is needed to return the result, and any retention by AI providers is governed by their terms.
9. Your rights and data requests
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us at support@kaireen.com. We will respond within the time required by law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies and website analytics
This website may use a small number of cookies or similar technologies to make the site work and to understand basic, aggregated usage. The Kaireen Studio panel itself does not use advertising cookies. Where required, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can manage them through your browser.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit for data sent to our servers and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any issue.
12. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses, so that your data stays protected.
13. Children
The Service is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Please check this page from time to time.
